End of the Year MONEY BOMB!!!

As many are aware, it took a lot of time, money and effort to successfully get back our status as a state party in 2012. These activities had depleted our funds.  As we are now ending 2013, it is critical to step-up fundraising efforts to jump start us into the 2014 election season.

We intend to increase our party-building efforts throughout the state and it is important to end this year on a positive note with money in the bank to help us raise public awareness of our party, its principles and further attract phenomenal constitutionalist candidates in the coming months.

Please consider helping out today, we have not asked for money all year and it is critical that we have a good showing for our party in time for the end of the year reports.

You can either click on the "Donate" button to contribute with PayPal or a major credit/debit card. If you prefer Dwolla, scroll down and click our party icon. Others preferring to pay by check, please make check payable to: Constitution Party of South Dakota and mail to the address at bottom of state blog.

Recruiting Constitutionalist Candidates

When good things happen in one state, it can have a ripple-effect across our nation.  We welcome support from constitution-loving Americans and keepers of the oath, everywhere.

People of principle are needed to take a stand, become leaders within our communities, set an example for our children and grandchildren that we are a people that will stand up to help inform, educate and passionately help us to finally restore the greatest constitution a nation has ever put into law.

With the early launching of major party candidates' campaigns ahead of their primaries next year, it is imperative for our candidates to begin to get into the conversation as well.

We are openly seeking potential candidates for 2014.  While it is crucial to find a gubernatorial candidate, we aim to offer the people of South Dakota many choices of ordinary Americans willing to step up to the plate and boldly come to the defense of our constitution through their runs for various offices throughout our state.

If you dare to put what is best for our state and our nation above major party politics and become a Constitutionalist, we would like to talk to you about working together to build the Constitution Party of South Dakota.

We have vacancies within the leadership of the party which can offer individuals great opportunities to make a difference in our state and within their local communities.  If you are not interested in leadership but would like to just get involved, we would love to connect with you.

For those that may have thought about running for office in the past but never followed through for various reasons............OPPORTUNITY is knocking at your door.  Voters are not looking for yet another career politician to support yet again, so put your principles in action and contact us today!

If you would like to donate to our cause, your contributions are urgently needed.  Your gracious donations may be accepted through Dwolla here.  Or, you may make your check payable to:  Constitution Party of South Dakota and mail to address at bottom of website at:  www.constitutionpartysd.org   For more information, please comment to this post or email info@constitutionpartysd.org.

Some of the most important issues that elected R's and D's will never tell you

There are at least 5 possible reasons why elected officials in both major parties will never speak in public about some of the most important issues facing our states and nation today.  Possible reasons as to why they won't speak about them are as follows:

  1. They honestly don't have a clue about the subject.  If someone does not even realize what the most serious problems are, it would be highly improbable for that individual to solve them.
  2. They know the truth yet are not willing to ruffle any feathers.  The system is working quite well for them personally.  They are cowards to even attempt to buck that system.
  3. They agree with the injustice or atrocious agenda despite what they may "act" like in public.  Behind the scenes, they are actually an enthusiastic part of the problem.
  4. Both major parties are financed and controlled by the same powerful special interests.  Even though the rhetoric may "sound" different, the results still continue to lead us down the exact same path, no matter which major party appears to be in power.
  5. Fear and intimidation to keep their mouths shut.
Thankfully, some people are talking about the "unspeakable".   One of the issues of great concern to many Americans is the impending implementation of the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare).  Not only will politicians not speak about the most dangerous aspects of that bill but they will never even utter in public the fact that the entire bill should have been legally considered null and void the moment that the Supreme Court ruled Obamacare to be a tax.  Did Chief Justice Roberts actually try to be "Sly as a fox?"  Not one single member of Congress or one single Governor of any state will expose the truth that no revenue raising bill can ever be originated in the Senate per our constitution.   The more recent Senate "Internet tax bill" could present a similar problem depending upon its interpretation as a revenue/tax bill.

Even the elected officials that are supposed to be the most concerned about defending our constitution will not tell the truth about the potentially most fraudulent issue to ever hit the Office of President.  Not one single politician in office will speak the truth about having an apparent usurper instead of a president in our oval office over the past several years.  The only mention you will hear from them on the subject are all just continuing attempts to further cover-up the truth.  These feeble attempts are getting more pathetic with each passing day.

Another crucial issue on the hush-hush by members of both major parties is the absolutely ridiculous and obvious problem of allowing programmable computer systems to count our votes in complete secrecy.  It is impossible to witness the actual numbers being tallied inside central computer systems or witness the accuracy of totals on individual memory cards used at the local precinct level.  It is absolutely preposterous that the American people continue to put up with the inability to witness and participate in hand-counting their votes at their local precincts in plain view of the voters.  With the current methods and computer systems in place, it is impossible to ensure the integrity of final election results across our country.

Don't hold your breath waiting for any career politician to bring back transparency to our vote counts.  Restoring integrity and confidence in our election results so that We The People's true voice can once again ring throughout our land will not come as a result of actions taken by the establishment of either major party.  Face reality.  The current insanely corruptible system has been working quite well in getting even the most unpopular incumbents unbelievably re-elected every time.

The real problem of election fraud is far more serious than the diversion of crying about voter fraud. If the final results are rigged in favor of a particular candidate being ultimately declared the "winner", it becomes inconsequential even if thousands of people voted 10 times each. The final result is still completely fraudulent. The election was stolen away from the legitimate winner and the voters' real choice was thrown to the wind.

With the pressure and influence of multinational corporate donors to political campaigns, there are hundreds of other very serious topics that are long over-due for a public debate within the halls of congress, throughout our state capitols and inside our city halls. Where are the elected representatives with courage to boldly speak out about the dangers of GMO's, the reality of natural cancer cures, the likelihood of a worldwide economic collapse and the encroachment upon our civil liberties by an ever-increasing police state?

Good and principled ordinary Americans will be stepping up to lead, for the silence coming from our current elected politicians is nothing short of deafening.  More people every day have just had enough. (see video)  It is time for real change in a positive direction.

Constitution Party's Position on 2nd Amendment

The following position is written by Darrel L. Castle, our 2008 nominee for Vice President of the United States.

In the Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson recognized that people are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights. He emphasized that the “unalienable rights” of man come from God, not from government, and cannot legally be taken by government.

The founders of America chose to enshrine the right to keep and bear arms as the Second Amendment in the Bill of Rights. “A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” (U.S. Constitution – 2nd Amendment of the Bill of Rights)

President Obama has decided not to accept the view of Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Adams, and Franklin, but instead to follow the example of tyrants such as Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, and Mao - all of whom disarmed their people to make tyranny easier to enforce.

Disarmament is apparently one of the building blocks President Obama intends to use in building his new Orwellian, total surveillance police state. Despite his and Vice President Biden’s rhetoric, they must understand that disarmament will not “keep millions of people out of harm’s way” nor will it save “thousands of lives.”

Vice President Biden has been quoted as saying the president is considering executive action after his inauguration on January 21. Such an executive order is not permitted under the Constitution and it would place the president clearly outside the law. That is apparently a place in which the president seems quite comfortable as he legislates by executive order, appoints his czars to run his administration’s agenda without Senate confirmation, and conducts wars while insisting that even consulting Congress - let alone getting approval - is not required.

He chooses the example of history’s tyrants instead of the founding fathers. Why would he do that unless disarmament is part of his long-term strategy to fundamentally change America, and he needs a helpless, disarmed public to accomplish his goals? (continue reading here)

Looking for a few good men and women

As we build the party from the ground up, there are extraordinary opportunities for fellow South Dakota patriots to get involved.

We are looking for a few good men and women to help us develop the party leadership/outreach structure.

We would also like to get together with like-minded South Dakotans for the purpose of forming working groups to tackle some crucial issues affecting our state and our nation.  Some working groups that are envisioned would brainstorm and develop action plans pertaining to the following challenges:

  • Protecting our 2nd Amendment rights
  • Proposing new legislation within our state in coordination with members of our state legislature
  • Ballot Access issues
  • Restoring transparency and integrity to our vote-count process
  • Nullification efforts tackling unconstitutional federal laws

There is also an immediate need to fill various positions within the party:

Precinct Leaders
County Chairs
Officers:  Vice-Chairman

If you are interested in getting involved or becoming a new member of the party, you may comment to this post or email the State Chairwoman, Lori Stacey at info@constitutionpartysd.org

Obama running again in 2016?

Could there be plans in progress to make this a possibility?

It turns out that there has already been a House Joint Resolution introduced and referred to committee that could be the beginning of making this possible.

H.J. Res.15 proposes an amendment to the constitution to repeal the 22nd Amendment.  The amendment currently limits an individual to serve a maximum of 2 four-year terms as President of the United States.  This new joint resolution is now in committee as of January 4th 2013.

To see a summary of this proposed resolution and track its progress through congress, go to the following link.
